2009 Arketi Web Watch Media Survey
68 Percent of journalists say social media is a plus for business-to-business
reporting
Following the success of our 2007 survey, Arketi Group
in 2009 again asked business-to-business journalists how they
make use of Web 2.0 technology.
The results show 88 percent of journalists say they spend
20 or more hours a week on the Internet – up from 60
percent in 2007. Nearly all (85 percent) say they have a LinkedIn
account, 55 percent are on Facebook and 24 percent tweet on
Twitter…

84 Percent of journalists okay blogs as a source for news articles
The 2007 Arketi Web Watch Media Survey seeks
to understand the opinions of business-to-business journalists
and their use of Web 2.0 technology.
The survey reveals that
when it comes to using blogs as primary or secondary sources
for articles, 84 percent of journalists say they would or already
have. Among the study’s other findings: journalists believe
monitoring of employee blogging is ethical, and despite what
you have heard, news releases are not dead… |
